DoorGunner 47 is a veteran-owned custom firearms shop in Forestburg, Texas. The name comes from the CH-47 Chinook — the helicopter our founder served on as a door gunner in the U.S. Army.

A door gunner is the crew member on a military helicopter responsible for the door-mounted weapon. The CH-47 Chinook is the heavy-lift helicopter that’s been carrying U.S. troops since Vietnam.
It’s where the name comes from. It’s also the standard we hold ourselves to.
